My Approach to Supervision
-
I offer clinical supervision on a 1-1 basis for counsellors and psychotherapists.
I offer sessions online, or in-person in Southampton on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis.
I am able to work with practitioners from any modality, however I especially welcome practitioners who work in a way that pays attention to unconscious processes (or would like to develop their practice in this direction).
-
I offer clinical supervision to groups of counsellors or psychotherapists up to a maximum of three supervisees per group. The duration of the group will be calculated at 1hr per person.

As a Transactional Analyst, I am well positioned to offer supervision to trainee or qualified TA practitioners from the Psychotherapy field (or Counselling/Educational Fields subject to an approved expansion request to EATA/ITAA).
For CTA trainees, I am a CTA (P), and so any supervision is not able to be counted as ‘TA Supervision’ (until I sign a PTSTA contract, which is likely to be in May 2027), but can be counted as ‘Other Supervision’ in the meantime. If you have any questions about this, please don’t hesitate to ask.
-
I also offer ‘Academic Supervision’, which places less of an emphasis on clinical work, but may focus instead on developing confidence, knowledge and application of TA theory, writing assignments, preparing for exams, etc.
If you are intrerested in engaging with this kind of supervision (individually or as part of a group) in addition to your clinical supervision, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
-
As a UKCP Registered Psychotherapist (HIPC), I am well positioned to offer supervision to HIPC UKCP trainees who are working towards their hours for qualification.
-
I also offer supervision for those in allied helping professions (educators, teachers, nurses, mentors, coaches, childcare providers, managers, etc.).
If you are interested in reflecting on your work in a psychologically informed way, do feel free to get in touch.
Please Note
I will be offering supervision sessions from November 2026 at a reduced rate of £30/hr at my offices in Southampton or online, via Zoom. I am offering a reduced rate whilst I complete my Diploma in Clinical Supervision.
If you are interested in working together, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Supervision has, and continues to be, one of the most formative experiences of my personal and professional development as a psychotherapist. At its best, I believe supervision offers a space for support, challenge and creativity where supervisor and supervisee come together to empower the supervisee to meet their clients in the way they need to be met. Safely, ethically and effectively.
As a supervisor, these are the elements I aspire to offer. The supervisory relationship is central to the way that I work.
